Last Night at "OLD" O'Neills. New one to open soon!

So, its sad but true. O'Neills the place where Dave and I met is moving locations and moving on up in life. So it was the last night there, where we met... Boo Hoo.

There is my Favorite Ry in the whole world.

Apparently we switched Dates. Jess is so cute snuggled up all close do Dave like that. Aren't they a cute couple? Oh, wait, is that a wedding ring on Daves MIDDLE FINGER????? He finally wears a ring and wears it on the wrong finger. Nice Dave

These are my Favorite Brazilians. Natasha and her boyfriend Vini, who is only learning english. But the good news is they were teaching me portuguese all night.

All in all it was a fun night, we had a good time. I will miss O'Neills, Mostly because it holds so many memories for us, but hey. Their new place is just around the corner. New memories waiting to be made.

Richmond Virginia Day 1 and Day 2.

Richmond Capitol building, its the view from our window. Its so beautiful.

Here is the DC Temple. It was SO pretty. It is amazing how everytime I see a temple in a place I have never been it make me happy.

Driving too richmond, it was a 7 hour 30 minute drive. Very stressful, very hot, and very.... interesting??? Mosely is almost impossible, he HAS to be on my lap or right by me the entire time making it so I can rarely switch positions or move. All the while Daves back is hurting. So the drive could have been more fun. But we are very thankful for the saftey that we arrived in.

So Richmond is wonderful and beautiful. I LOVE IT! Day 2 (the first full day) was so fun, but I walked so much my feet are killing me. Dave pre-road the bike course this morning and Mosely got to walk around and swim and walk around. We basically went on like a 3 and a half hour walk. We got lunch at a really good deli.... I don't remember what its called though. But it was yummy.

I walked to the James Canal, where George Washington started the First canal way of the US to help shipments and stuff get to the Mississippi river. Its also a big site of some of the Civil War I went to a bridge that has been set up as a memorial right next to part of the old bridge that was back there in 1865. There were quotes and sayings from people who lived druing the war, Soldiers, and common people who lived in Richmond during all of it.

NOW WE ARE TIRED!!!!!!
we spent a whole 10 minutes taking a break and then we went for a walk again.

Tomorrow is a new and fun day here in Richmond. I'll do another blog so you will know whats up. Dave is now passed out and I am well on my way to doing the same! NIGHT!

Just a quick word

Hey everyone, my best friend Karen is in ICU Due to her kidney failure. She is being put on the donations list and is on dialysis... I can't spell that so deal with me. I am just BEGGING everyone to pray for her to get better and for a kidney to be available for her soon! Since I am so far away from her and her family I feel completely helpless in this situation. All I know is that I can ask people to pray, and that sometimes is the most important thing. Thanks. I'll be back later with some more up beat and fun stuff to talk about! PRAY!

Where did May go??

June 2008 is here as well as the warm weather. I really can't remember this past month other then it went by in a blink of an eye. This past weekend was ok. Em and I love to eat and think we are editors and taste testers for zagat's (for those who don't know its a restaurant rating little book thingy that rates eateries with stars). We checked out a new place locally called, Dina!. It was a pretty cool little joint. We sampled the wingies, I sampled the mussels as Emily watched in disgust. For our entree she got the cheesburger, I got the steak salad. To top things off we split the chocolate chip cheesecake which could have been a little less cocca-ee. All in all we gave it 3.5stars. Aight gotta go, im out!
