Today our adventure begins as we leave our driveway and head out to Utah. Considering the gas prices we opted out of flying and decided to drive. Plane tickets were ridiculous and by driving we're saving a good G's worth! Shouldn't be to bad except for the fact that were driving into a storm.....hopefully we will get lucky and somehow get around it. Time for the coffee and last minute checklist!

Colorado

So, we headed out to Colorado to spend Thanksgiving week with my Sister Kevann and her family. What an adventure.

There is this big Rock in Castle Rock... you could imagine. And we spent the morning hiking it and playing with the Buddies. (my Nephews)

Kevann and her family have a tradition of going skiing for Thanksgiving. I think it is the best idea for a tradition ever... so we headed up to Loveland ski resort in the wonderful mountain range know to all by the Rockies.

It really isn't a bad way to start your ski season in Colorado.... Can't complain. It was a blast to get to go skiing with my sister Kevann and her Husband. We took my nephew Fisch with us. It was so funny. He was PISSED at first and Kept Yelling "WHY ARE YOU MAKING ME DO THIS? I HATE SKIING, ITS SO STUPID" But by the end of the Day he was loving it and saying how good of a job he did. All thanks to the Kev.

We had a really fun time in Colorado. Don't know when the next time we'll be there will be but hopefully its not too far away.

Our next adventure will be taking place when we DRIVE from Connecticut to UTAH! Yes, we're that crazy.
