b-day. just another day.

So my b-day came and went and i'm happy to have spent it with some good peeps, food and drinks. My health, home, family & friends are all the gifts i need right now BUT wifey went out of her way to get me a cool new waterproof/shockproof digital camera to take with me on my outdoor adventures without concern for outdoor conditions!

Xterra Nationals, Ogden Utah

So i squeaked into qualify for Nationals. Not sure how well this race will go? It will definitely be a good indicator to see what i will need to do off-season. This race will be very competitive and tough in my age-group considering some have 'pro-like' splits. It sounds weird to say that this will be my 10th tri (i think 7th xterra), feels like i've done more since my addiction began 2yrs ago. As always i'm stoked and can't wait to have fun, fun, fun. WHAT!?!? 2 YEARS ALREADY!

HOLY GUACAMOLE! EMILY AND I WILL CELEBRATE OUR 2YR ANNIVERSARY TODAY! Not sure what we will do considering Emily has to work late tonight? We could go out to dinner, wait no we can't. Dining out food is a no-no for Emily right now. Emily is kicking but about her new nutritional program. I'm so proud of her, i know its tough for her but she's sticking with it! There's no way i could be doing what she's doing. Hopefully we will post more of what we decide to do tonight.
