mud, medals and mechanicals

Fun weekend overall.
-Friday night started things off with a good mex dinner and drinks at Ole Mole with Emily's boss and co-workers.

-Saturday didn't go as planned, I woke up feeling sick. On top of the congestion, the ski race logistically didn't make sense (6hr total driving for a 2hr race) so I opted to do nice 3hr outdoor ride with a local club leaving out of westport. I'm glad I did the ride instead.

-Sunday was the Xterra trail run in Long Island. It was fun,snowy and muddy.

TT teammate Kristen Budden got 1st female overall and cash money! I got 4th and beat out for 3rd by a 16yr old but whatever.


Post trail run its time to ride with the fellas. The "chain gang", Budden in training explains it all.

Piper 9 weeks. 3-1-10. Piper is a b@!ch, i call her Carlita Ohnoudidn't cause i think she uses latina fighting style to claim her stake. I wanna get her big hoop earings. Overall she is way smart and i like her.

race weekend

So..... considering Emily has to work all weekend and my knee seems to be healing, why not do some fun races!


Magic Mountain will be host to a Randonee Ski Race on Sat. morning. Should be fun and hard, 3laps up then down, up then dwn, up then finish:)

The XTERRA Stillwell Trail Run in strong island will be a 5miler in the am on Sunday. Hopefully i'll have some legs left over from sat..
